Trevor's Story
Trevor, is six-year-old, sixteen pound Doxie-Chihuahua mix, with an adorable prance and ridiculous underbite who melts the heart of everyone he meets. United Hope for Animals found Trevor at the Baldwin Park shelter, where his congenial disposition made him an instant volunteer favorite, and when his time was up we couldn't leave him behind. Trevor was a happy-go-lucky pup, but had two eye conditions -- cherry eye and Keratitis. While cherry eye is a common an easily treatable condition, Trevor had excess tissues attached to his cornea that had to be removed in order to save his sight. Trevorâ??s surgery was very successful, and while his vision will be slightly impaired, he will keep his sight. We are, however, left with a large, unexpected vet bill to pay. Please consider â??chipping in,â?? even a dollar or two for Trevor.
